Occam’s Razor Explanation: Trump is Putin’s Bitch

“Occam's razor is a problem-solving principle that states the simplest explanation is usually the best.”

Donald Trump and J.D. Vance’s disgusting attack on Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the Oval Office was maybe the most disgraceful and vile betrayal of an ally in our nation’s history. It is clear now that as long as Donald Trump is President, we are no longer the leader of the free world. Rather, it is evident Trump wants to create alliances with Vladimir Putin’s Russia and other nations led by autocrats.

Clearly, Trump is not doing this because it is popular with the public, or even his base. A recent poll shows the over 80% of the nation disapproves of Putin.

But Trump doesn’t care because Putin helped Trump win in 2016, and then helped him again in the subsequent two Presidential elections. As David Corn points out in Mother Jones:

“Putin wanted Trump in the White House, and he screwed with American elections to make that happen. Now Trump is acting like Putin’s handmaid—and pursuing policies and creating discord that could well undermine American democracy and fray, if not shatter, the Western alliance. MAGA refuses to see this. Congressional Republicans won’t face it. And the media doesn’t fully cover this all-important backstory. Whether or not there are secrets to the Trump-Putin relationship that we don’t know, it’s clear that Putin made a clever bet, and it looks like he’s about to cash in.”

There is a reason why Trump and his allies continue to contend that it was all the “Russian Collusion Hoax.” To acknowledge that it is true would be to admit that Trump is beholden to Putin, something he never wants to admit.

But it is obvious to any person that just in the first six weeks of his Presidency, Trump is doing things to help Putin like preventing our cybersecurity from dealing with Russian hacking, etc., and now he is blatantly taking Putin’s side against Ukraine.

But, as Corn suggests, I think Putin’s help with the elections is only part of Trump/Putin’s relationship. Trump has admired Putin for years and wanted to build a hotel in Moscow. Lord knows how many more financial entanglements there have been and continue to be between Russia and Trump including money laundering. A Reuters’ 2017 investigation “found that at least 63 individuals with Russian passports or addresses have bought at least $98.4 million worth of property in seven Trump-branded luxury towers in southern Florida.” At one point, Donald Trump Jr. admitted that a big part of the Trump Organization’s monies was coming from Russian sources. And check out this Wikipedia article on the extensive ties between Trump and Russian investors.

So, we have Putin helping Trump win the Presidency and Putin making sure that Trump is well taken care of financially. It would be naïve to believe that laws weren’t broke and crimes committed. (Remember Paul Manafort?)

There is something the Russians call Kompromat, which “is damaging information about a politician, a businessperson, or other public figure, which may be used to create negative publicity, as well as for blackmail, often to exert influence rather than monetary gain, and extortion.” (Google)

Occam’s Razor shows us that the simplest answer to Trump’s behavior is that the Russians have Kompromat on him. Trump’s history is to receive money or goods and services from people and then stiff them. He has shown no problem with lying to investors, consumers, voters, etc. The only person he never speaks ill of or screws over is Vladimir Putin.

And there may be other things we will probably never know about. Clearly, Trump’s actions and behavior with women have been reprehensible. Was he having sex with a teenager in Moscow like the one he was accused of having at Jeffrey Epstein’s?

And remember the Steele Dossier? Trump’s adamant denial of the “Golden Showers” incident in a Moscow hotel room (where he supposedly hired hookers to pee on the bed Obama had slept in) always seemed similar to many of his other denials of actions and things he said that were subsequently verified. With Trump, it’s always “Thou doth protest too much.” But what if there was a “pee tape?” That would be another piece of Kompromat.

In the early 1960’s a film was made entitled The Manchurian Candidate where a possible Presidential candidate was programmed to do the bidding of his Communist masters.

Here the behavioral control of Trump is because he is, in my opinion, being blackmailed. And if Trump is doing things to help our adversaries because he feels obligated or compromised, then that is treasonous.
