Musk/Trump cuts shut down potentially life-saving clinical trial for breast cancer [1]

The destruction and damage wrought by the haphazard, thoughtless and draconian cuts instituted by Elon Musk and Donald Trump are already having real-world, negative consequences for millions of Americans, regardless of party affiliation or political belief system.
I am alive today because of the incredible work of cancer researchers who rely on federal funding to conduct their research. Much of that funding is now frozen or cut entirely, forcing researchers to shelve life-sustaining projects.
This heartbreaking video was posted to Instagram three days ago. It describes the forced ending/defunding of a breast cancer treatment clinical trial that has shown great promise. My heart goes out to these women facing the cancellation of their potentially life-saving trial.
This story is not anecdotal. Attacks on science are widespread and devastating. Please share the Instagram video far and wide. Cancer knows no politics. Every single person in this country has been affected by cancer, either their own diagnosis or that of friends or family members. This is reprehensible and should outrage all Americans.
