Friday's Debacle and Understanding Our Dear Leader [1]

I don’t expect my words to have any impact on the fallout from disgusting display by the barstool tag team (I stole that moniker) we saw on Friday. I think President Zelenskyy’s honorable and diplomatic approach to his confrontation with Trump (aka Krasnov) and Ukraine’s need for military assistance, hopefully including America, is dire, so I would expect him to express any of the following points cautiously in any future discussion with Krasnov. But I fervently hope that those who oppose him, especially Democratic politicians, repeat these bullet points whenever they have the opportunity. And I wish someone would confront Krasnov and shout these to his face. Loudly. Rudely. In any way possible.

Here is an incomplete list of indisputable facts about the war in Ukraine — no need to provide links though I included a few; just look at the hundreds of diaries in DK with (literally) thousands of links:

Ukraine did not start the war. Russia did.

Ukraine did not invade Russia. Russia invaded Ukraine.

Ukraine has not destroyed numerous cities in Russia. Russia has and still is destroying Ukrainian cities.

Ukraine has not bombed hospitals in Russia. Russia has bombed hospitals in Ukraine.

Ukraine did not kidnap Russian children. Russia has kidnapped Ukrainian children.

Ukraine has not slaughtered Russian civilians. Russia has slaughtered Ukrainians in Bucha and many other places.

Ukraine has not executed prisoners of war. Russia has.

Ukraine has not committed countless documented war crimes. Russia has.

And so the crucial question is that despite the ugly, evil, despicable truth about Russia, why does Krasnov admit to none of the above utterly damning facts and sides with Russia and speaks Russian talking points? I think by now the answer is obvious (at least to me):

Krasnov (aka tfg, aka whatever) is a Russian asset/agent (at this time it makes no difference which) and a traitor to the US.

It entirely consistent with all of the evidence, and no other rational explanation makes sense (OK you can add yours, but in advance, I politely disagree and will try to respond if I can add something useful to the discussion).
