Coalition of the Willing outsmarting Trump? [1]

What is Trump offering in return for the minerals anyway? Nothing! I read on the BBC that Zelensky was told by Trump’s people, ahead of the infamous Oval Office meeting on Friday, that he must NOT ask for any security guarantees from the US in return.
Zelensky did ask for security guarantees, and the shit-show ensued.
I don’t think Trump has any intention whatsoever of providing any security or “backstop”. He wants to walk away from Ukraine by cutting Ukraine and the Eu out of any negotiations, and making his own deal with Russia that gives Russia everything it wants, and allows Trump to steal Ukraine’s minerals at the same time!
Surely all the brilliant minds involved, the leaders and their advisors in the UK, Eu and Canada can see this? If so, why does Starmer keep insisting that the US must continue to be involved in any peace deal? They may have been stuck in the post WWII mindset, at first, from the era where the US was a strong trustworthy ally (a long two months ago), but it must be obvious by now that Trump is a mercurial Russian stooge who is quite willing to betray all his allies at the drop of a hat.
They are not numpties.

Tonight I see Zelensky stating that he IS ready to sign the mineral deal — WITH security guarantees from the US. He even says he is willing to step down as leader if Ukraine is admitted into NATO.
Perhaps the Coalition of the Willing actually have a very good plan? Force Trump into a situation where he has to openly admit that it is he who is refusing to make the mineral deal with security guarantees, because he has absolutely no intention of backing up the deal with any help for Ukraine in return. In fact Trump wants to abandon Ukraine to Russia and to take their minerals for free.
The situation now will force Trump to come out into the open with his shitty betrayal of all the US’ allies, or force him to join the Coalition and back Ukraine with the security guarantees that are wanted.
He is being forced to show his fucking hand!
Who holds all the cards now Trump?
I suspect the “Coalition of the Willing” do have a grand plan and hope that it will lead to Ukraine’s freedom and true peace despite all of Trump’s and Putin’s machinations.
