The ignorance just amazes me [1]

So I had built a cannon and was putting together a yard feature with flag pole flowers ect. I live 20 miles from Ft Bragg and was a paratrooper with the 82nd airborne division so the flag I put up was the flag from the 82nd . The AA stands for all American because this division was started during WWII and had troops from every state in it. This lady in her 7o’s who has lived next door who knew I thought trump was a idiot felon and didn’t vote for him ..she did. Well she comes over to ask/say she liked my yard display but was confused and mildly irritated about the flag. She says” Tim what kind of flag is that I know its not an American flag I hope its not some other country or worse!” I said Miss ***** you have known me for almost 40 years you knew I served in the army in fact you should know this flag as you have driven through Ft Bragg your whole life!. She says “Tim I still don’t know it” I said “ Miss ***** its the flag of the UNITED STATES ARMY 82nd AIRBORNE ! for Christ's sake you are acting like this is some foreign country flag” I live in deep red area of NC and that exchange explained all you need to know why trump got elected .This woman has driven by a flag like this but way bigger her whole life and never knew what it was.IGNORANCE IS BLISS!
