Can’t we do something to undermine the trump plan? [1]

I’m a retired person in a (mostly) blue state, CT. I’m a well educated, progressive person who has all the values we grew up with since WW2. I abhor racism, anti-gay rhetoric, and the trend of our country to white supremacy values. Feels like I belong on Kos. And I do contribute to support it.

My question is this: what can I do as a private citizen to disable the trump/musk crazy train?

Is there something I can do (with the help of several million like-minded citizens) to derail it. Here is one half-baked idea.

Most federal tax revenue comes from blue state and more of it goes to red states than fair. Right?

What if we just stop contributing to the federal coffers? I could personally stop all of my federal tax withholdings today. I would still owe the same amount of federal tax at the end of the year, no actual net cost, if I decide to file and pay them.

Could we collectively starve these jerks?

Let me know if there are other and better ideas. I just want to stop the destruction.
