Zelensky should have called Trump and Vance whining little children [1]

Zelensky held his composure when first Vance, then Trump, talked over him in the Oval Office confrontation. It wasn't a news conference.

I was waiting for Zelensky to either shout or punch one of them out for the insulting treatment. But Zelensky kept his cool.

Trump and Vance could say whatever they wanted to in private, but their attempt to publicly humiliate Zelensky didn't work. We saw the real stateman in the room.

Trump couldn't get to his phone soon enough to try to validate his behavior. He didn't.

"A Statement from Donald J. Trump." Statements are laying out facts. Lying about facts doesn't count. This is the first time I've seen a "Truth" start out with that heading.

"We had a very meaningful meeting in the White House today." Was that before the Oval Office debaucle, or the debaucle itself?

"... conversation under such fire and pressure." That was not a conversation we saw. It was "I'm so great because I'm the President of the United States, and this little b*tch with the beard over there is the vices-president. Respect us or die."

Trump is a classic case of "emotion" unstability. Unlike newspeople who cross you, you couldn't threaten Zelensky about taking away his press credentials. You couldn't say he was asking a nasty question or call him a nasty man. You just tried to embarrass him, but all the world is going to see this brawl and think even less of the no longer United - States. You have Made America Grotesque Again.

"... I have determined that President Zelensky is not ready for Peace if America is involved ... " Bad judgement call Mr. Wannabe Statesman. What you mean is Zelensky won't give up territory to your pal Putin. Your dicknose sycophants Hegseth, Rubio and Vance already said that territory has to go and no NATO. Great bargaining, just like you did with the Taliban.

What happened with the mineral deal this was all supposed to be about? You basically blackmailed Ukraine into it. You keep touting "Promises Made, Promises Kept." Name me one that was good, not evil.

"... I don't want advantage, I want PEACE." You want Putin to have the advantage, you backstabbing traitor. You don't like it that Ukraine is actually turning the tide, and the attacks into Russia are having an effect on Russia's war machine and turning the populace against Putin.

"He disrespected the United States of America in it's cherished Oval Office."

He did no such thing. You disgraced the Oval Office by being there and you have embarrassed the United States in the worst way you have ever done. The Trump Gaza video comes in second.

"Cherished." You've been using that word a lot lately, about how we would cherish Canada and how you cherish Wayne Gretzky. You talk like Zelensky gave a Bronx cheer in a house of worship. The Oval Office is made important by the person who occupies it, and you're no George Washington. You're not even fit to shine Joe Biden's shoes.

"He can come back when he is ready for PEACE."

You talk like you've just sent him to the corner for a time-out. Zelensky has never wavered from his demands. Russia has to pull out of all of Ukraine, including the annexed eastern territory. Then there could be a ceasefire. Zelensky tried to give you a history lesson with what happened in Crimea, but you wouldn't let him. Zelensky is ready for Peace. He always has been. It's your buddy Putin that wants you to leverage Zelensky and Ukraine into letting him take what he wants.

At the end of the bruhaha, you started to blame Ukraine for being the cause of World War III. Donny, you're making the possibility of it happening more each day. The enemy sees your plan destroying the government from within and cheering you on. You have made us look weak to our enemies and an erratic partner to our allies.

As an aside, this is one more danger to Ukraine happening. USAID was instrumental in keeping Ukraine's power grid up and running. The Ukraine Energy Security Project is shutting down, leaving Ukraine vulnerable to Russia's attack on it's infrastructure in the dead of winter. Donald Trump is to blame for all of this, too.
