The Fed Predicts We Are Entering A Recession Right Now [1]

The Atlanta Federal Reserve is effectively predicting a recession starting now. It's prediction for the first quarter of 2025 GDP change is now -1.5%.

Just nine days ago the forecast from the same source was +2.3%.

Just three weeks ago the forecast was +2.9%.

Just four weeks ago the forecast was +3.9%.

The speed at which Trump is tanking the economy is mind blowing. I mean look at the stunning graph above.

Driving the Fed forecast is an expected crashing in net exports (trade war) and a decline in consumer spending. Measures of consumer confidence have been crashing now for a couple of weeks.
