So what does it take to establish that Trump is a Russian asset? update: David Frum nails it [1]

A major investigation in his first term, the Mueller report, uncountable questionable dealings with Russia and Russians in his first term, two impeachments, and many questionable dealings since. Now we see a complete sellout of our nation to Russia. The purported rationale is transparently ridiculous. Few in this country have anything to gain by it, except the orange one and a few of his close sycophants. We have no way to know what has gone on behind the scenes. The things in view always have the thin veneer of legality. We cannot really say that Trump has been bought when a Russian oligarch buys one of his properties, even when the payment was many times the market value. Articles that Trump was recruited by the KGB in 1987 are quickly taken down and perhaps are a little too close to undocumented conspiracy theories. But now the truth about Trump’s allegiance to the former KGB agent in the Kremlin could not be more clear. When can we just say it?
Update: David Frum’s current article in the Atlantic (“At Least Now We Know the Truth”) is worth a read. It is behind a paywall so I cannot produce the entire thing. However, I hope I am not breaking any rules by offering a taste:
