I’m just so damn embarrassed [1]

I wrote in another social media post about 3 weeks ago this very sentiment, that I’m so fucking embarrassed to be an American right now, and I knew it was only going to get worse, that it was highly likely I would become even more embarrassed in the coming weeks, months, and years.

I just didn’t think that level of embarrassment would happen so quickly and exponentially like this.

I just can’t even describe the level of shame I’ve got right now. And it’s not to President Zelenskyy and the country of Ukraine, though they obviously deserve and demand our humble apologies as Americans. It’s to everyone else in this world.

Fuck Trump. Fuck his voters and cult supporters. I want my country back. I want my pride of being a decent American back.
