As Citizens watch the first stages of our ongoing coup it is by design difficult to get a reasonable picture of what is happening. The chaos is intended to obscure motives and key players. Dominant media will focus on individuals and personalities in order to distract attention from larger emerging patterns and trends.
There is no substantive response in opposition.
At this point we can fairly say the immediate effects from destruction of governmental agencies have been effective.
Today our national structure continues to operate on its own momentum. Remaining civil servants will attempt to conserve energy in the system and many Citizens will be sympathetic, at least initially. The depth and breadth of the assault however, insures things will grind to a halt fairly soon.
The impending extension of long term wealth transfer to deeply entrenched oligarchs is already underway Guaranteed reductions in basic services immediately with more on the in the near future.have been announced.
WHAT Citizens are being shown today is who is in charge. That is not necessarily the same as those employed to carry out specific areas of the coup. We are being shown where the real power resides. Some names and organizations are known to Citizens, some are more circumspect, some may try to remain in the shadows
What is already clear real power no longer resides with Citizens or institutions we have previously relied upon to prevent what is happening today.
The intention at this stage is to convince Citizens the effective centers of power are not only beyond our control but beyond our reach as well. That also seems to be succeeding.
Citizens generally understand what the coup is doing is technically illegal according to federal laws as well as a direct assault on the Constitution. That is the message we are meant to accept. So far we have surprising levels of complicity and outright surrender.
The continued lack of substantive resistance strengthens the resolve of coup participants, emboldens those in their employ and increases the risks the coup will enter the next stages unopposed.
