Who knew squares could be so, well, round? [1]

I've always been a huge fan of Paul Krugman. I studied international monetary economics back in the day. I find him to be sufficiently weedy to instill confidence in the soundness of his analysis with a writing style that relates those weeds to policy accessibly. To put it another way, he breaks it down Barney style.
His departure from NYT prompted me to follow his substack. It's something I should have done long ago. Their loss has been my gain.
The reason for this diary, though is not the substance of his articles. It's to bring attention to the musical codas at the end of his articles. The guy has the best musical Codas. It's inspired me to include them, though mine are old tunes and almost always tied to the piece. His are neither. They are obscure pieces from bands that are the last ones I would expect a Nobel Laureate for Economics born and raised in New York to be following.
Even if you hate economics, his pieces are worth it just to scroll to bottom for the Coda. The one this morning is no exception. Here it is…
