My Favorite Person... [1]

My favorite person at work has a big Fuck Biden sticker on the back glass of her car. The letters are written using artistically-arranged semi-automatic rifles. She's a young mom who grew up in the foster system, and has no mom or dad. Her two kids are elementary school terrors, and they also have health issues. She has a small farm, and recently knocked herself unconscious with a fencepost driver in the pigpen. She luckily was not eaten alive by her hogs. She's doing the best she can.
We get along great. She's lazy at work, but has a Screw Management mentality that's quite enviable. If my butt looked that good in blue jeans, I'd probably follow her lead.
After the election, she asked me who I voted for. "A bunch of stupid politicians," I replied. She liked that answer. A key part of getting along with Trump fans is acknowledging that we all hate something about the government. A distrust of politicians is more American than apple pie.
Pretty much everyone is "conservative" at this small rural factory. Pretty much everyone also smokes weed, drives a crappy car, and struggles to keep a roof over their head. I'm just like them, except for my politics. We have much in common, and get along very well.
I don't go around preaching about diversity, sexuality, international affairs or religion. The gay guys and the black guy probably voted for Trump, and if they didn't, it's none of my business anyhow. I keep my nose to the grindstone, help out anyone who's struggling, and smile at everyone. Leading by example.
