Another Reason Trump Cannot Be King [1]

There’s evil going on from the white house ever since a fake president repeated an oath that might as well have been a nursery rhyme for all it meant to him, or another kind of vow: Revenge will be sweet. They’ll all pay!

You can almost hear the demons chuckling as they sit around the oval office, on the furniture, the picture frames, hanging from the curtains, and even perched on the flag pole. To think that room had had a thorough fumigating treatment after the last time Trump left and before a real president sanctified it, so to speak, once again.

What a horrible weapon a little black Sharpie pen was soon revealed for the world to see. The old debate about which is mightier, the pen or the sword, gave new weight to the pen side of the argument, though in an entirely different context! Oh, but that awful weapon is indeed mighty. What can stand against it? What can defeat it?

For my own sanity, I remember that in the Bible we learn that God laughs at the puny power of men when they dare stand against him. It says that the nations are as a drop in the bucket to him! That’s where we get that colorful, well-known idiom. I also, for my own peace, simply trust God. I have found he is trustworthy and keeps his promises. I don’t know why things are as they are, but I do know, though it doesn’t seem like it now, he has everything under control. Well, that’s how I find sanity and peace in these evil days—these days when real evil emanates from a place I always thought was there for the good of America and the good of all of us living here. And Congress! What the…?! They USED to be for the good of America also, and many of its members are, but if there is an R by their name, I scream, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING??!!

Well, I was just going to put up my little drawing, but I guess the spirit moved me…or…something. God help us. And we’re not needing help just for us Americans but for the millions who were depending on us! Please, God; let us help them too like we used to. Let that statue out in New York harbor truthfully say again: “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free…” (I hope I quoted that right). Amen.
