Well, give him 365 points for consistency: Every single day, America’s “president” offers fresh glimpses into the darkness of his (alleged) soul.
In case you missed it, the “leader of our country” literally threatened to take food out of the mouths of Maine schoolchildren — and strip billions in federal funding to the entire state — to punish a political enemy who stood up to his pathetic public bullying.
Yes, I am talking about the now-viral White House donnybrook where BOGUS POTUS lambasted Maine Gov. Janet Mills for refusing to play political football over the issue of transgender athletes in sports (video).
Now you might not know this if you don’t watch Fox “News,” but transgender athletes competing in women’s sports is one of the most important issues of our time — one that helped our toxic Pussy-Grabber-in-Chief beat that nice lady in the recent presidential race.
And unlike his other pet issue about immigrants in Ohio “eating the pets of the people that live there” (video), this one is actually happening, with literally dozens of examples to prove it.
So Trump signed a piece of paper to make it stop — part of his fusillade of legally dubious and/or unconstitutional “Executive Order” pen grenades.
Soon after, at a Feb. 21 White House speech to the National Governors Association, he tried to give Gov. Mills a public scolding for disobeying his order. A former Maine attorney general, Mills responded that she was “complying with state and federal laws.”
Gasp! Uh-oh!
A woman said “no” to Trump.
Trumpy got triggered and huffed, “You better comply because otherwise you’re not getting any, ANY federal funding.”
“We’ll see you in court,” said Mills.
Later that evening, she released a statement noting that: “No President — Republican or Democrat — can withhold Federal funding authorized and appropriated by Congress and paid for by Maine taxpayers in an attempt to coerce someone into compliance with his will. It is a violation of our Constitution and of our laws, which I took an oath to uphold.”
Speaking as a citizen of the sovereign nation of Rivermede (a 0.01093-square-mile nation located within the geographical boundaries of Maine), I salute Gov. Mills for standing up to that GOP SOB, especially when she stated that:
