Tuesday is unofficially budget day around here at KITM.

But now it’s Wednesday, and we’re still gonna have to talk about the budget.

Unless we take care of it right here, right now. Well, uh, long story short, House Republicans passed one last night. After some procedural drama.

So, that’s it. Unless Greg Dworkin brings it up later.

Anyway, as I mentioned yesterday, this has nothing to do with the fact that the government is about to run out of FY25 money and shut down. This was step one of the FY26 budget. And it sucks.
