EPA is apparently targeted for a 65% cut in staffing. A whopping 65%. CORRECTION — cut in funding [1]

At his Confederacy of Traitors meeting today — aka, his first Caninet meeting of sycophants and cowards — the convicted felon in chief, traitor, coup leader, Russian patsy, and globally recognized imbecile of historic proportions — revealed that new EPA head and former Republican Congressman from New York Lee Zeldin will apparently be slashing the agency he leads — the Environmental Protection Agency — by a staggering 65%. If carried out, that would reduce then agency staffing from about 14,000 — 15,000 to about 5.000.
Suffice it to say, this would be catastrophic for environmental protection. Clean air, clean water, hazardous waste, climate change, wildlife, our oceans….. And would take years and years to fix.
No one voted for this shit. NO ONE.
Democrats better start fucking acting like that’s the case.
CORRECTION — Trump later clarified that he meant funding, not staffing. But of course, that is still devastating to the agency. And effectively would castrate it.
