So, Seriously, Is Donald Trump A Russian Agent, Or Just A Useful Idiot? [1]

Normally one would try to refrain from, what would seem to be, hyperbole when discussing the president of the United States. However, considering the behavior of this president, I’m not sure there is such a thing as hyperbole.
So, seriously, is Donald Trump a Russian agent, or just a useful idiot?
What in the world would induce one to even ask such a question?
Briefly consider the following:
In his first term, in front of the whole world, live on television, Donald Trump sided with Vladimir Putin against the U.S. intelligence services during a press conference in Helsinki. Subsequent to that he not only failed to ever criticize Putin, but had instead praised him continuously. If one was gracious, that could be chalked up to a steep first term learning curve.
But now, several years later, his behavior has become even more flagrant. Only one month into his second term Trump has unequivocally sided with Putin again. Despite all evidence to the contrary, Trump has blamed Ukraine for the barbaric Russian invasion of their country; he has called Volodymyr Zelensky a dictator; two days ago, at the United Nations, he sided with Russia against Ukraine. Additionally, Trump constantly regurgitates Russian talking points and he nominated, for director of all U.S. intelligence, someone who regularly cites known Russian propaganda.
In the meantime, he has decapitated the leadership of the U.S. military, thereby undermining our military readiness, while at the same time attempting to dismantle U.S. democracy itself. Hmm. Could any of this activity be more pro-Russian?
So, seriously, one has to ask: Is Donald Trump a Russian agent, or just a useful idiot?
I’m just asking questions.
