Maxwell's Silver Hammer on the head of the Grifter-in-Chief [1]

Maxwell Frost, the youngest person in Congess, came to verbal blows with James Comer at the House Committe on Oversight and Government Reform today.
Frost repeatedly referred to Trump as a grifter and grifter-in-chief. Comer did not like this, wouldn't you know?
Frost: "People like the grifter-in-chief and President Musk are openly using their public offices to enrich themselves to the tune of billions of dollars. So if we want to look at waste, fraud, and abuse, which I'm down to, why is there complete silence on the other side of the aisle about looking at the complete grifter that is the president of the United States and the richest man on earth, which is looking into things like Social Security and different things like that. Why don't we investigate the real corruption?"
Rep. Clay Higgens asked for Frost's remarks to be stricken from the record, and Comer asked Frost if he'd like to change what he said identifying the president.
Frost: "I will say President Musk and Grifter-in-Chief Trump"
Comer gave him another chance.
Frost: "I will say the president is grifting because you spent the last two years saying President Biden was corrupt."
Nancy Mace called for his words to be struck.
Frost: "I can say that Trump is grifting. What I will withdraw is calling him grifter-in-chief. That is what I will withdraw."
Comer: "The chair sustains the point of order, and the words in question are ordered stricken from the transcript of this proceeding."
Frost: "I want to say that it is Despicable that this committee is going to silence me..." and then his microphone was turned off.
Comer: "Mr. ranking member, I'm going to have the sergeant of arms remove him if he doesn't refrain."
The Ranking member is Gerald Connolly.
Jasmine Crockett tried to come to his defense, but was shouted down.
Since he wasn't going to be allowed to speak, Frost gathered his things and left.

I've always have liked Maxwell Frost. He doesn't mince words and has no trouble taking on Republican hypocrisy. Elected at age 25, he's been giving them hell ever since. He and Jasmine Crockett make a great one-two punch.
