Jess Anderson hosts Virtual Fundraiser TONIGHT [1]

Guess who’s back??

So here I am, Jessica Anderson, returning to challenge the Republican caucus chair, in the house of delegates 71st district, Amanda Batten, for a second time.

Just to recap, in 2023 we moved competitive seat this (with a small budget and an even smaller campaign team) from a 6.7 republican lean district to 1.8, and came up just 667 votes short of winning. We know this go around the momentum is there, the support has grown and we know former VP Harris won the 71st district, with more than 2400 votes.

Virginians are seeing their federal workforce, their security, their healthcare, their public education, and their bodily autonomy being placed on the chopping block by our federal government. Right now we have a governor who is not only condoning the actions of this administration, but cheering it on, at Virginian’s demise. The whole nation is watching Virginia as we have 100 seats in the house of delegates, along with our governor, Attorney General, and lieutenant governor’s races this November. The pendulum is about to swing very hard left to ensure that we have leadership that will stand up for all Virginians, and not bend the knee to corporate billionaires.

Just over a week ago, Saturday, we hosted our campaign kickoff with headliner, Democratic candidate for governor, Abigail Spanberger, and watched over 200 attendees get excited about Virginia elections.

So we decided to keep up that momentum and host a virtual fundraiser this evening, from 7-8PM EST and I invite you to join. This is a chance tolearn about our campaign, what’s on the line for Virginians if we do not maintain a majority in the house and change the party leadership in the governor’s mansion, and a chance to ask ask open-ended questions from a candidate and get real answers. This cycle, we are considered one of the top three most competitive races in the state! I truly hope you can join us tonight and continue supporting us over the next nine months as this race is going to look a lot different than 2023!
