Let's start with some good news.
x 💥 BREAKING: At Apple's 2025 annual meeting of shareholders today, proposal entitled “Request to Cease DEI Efforts" is rejected by shareholders. Right-wing nonprofit National Center for Public Policy Research (NCPPR) proposal was also rejected by Costco shareholders 98-2 percent.

x After playing a fictional member of the Resistance a long time ago, I never could have imagined it ever happening in real life, but here we are.

As we were saying last night…
x Plus Joy and Lester Holt? Looks like the slide deck of a Power Point presentation at an employment discrimination webinar. Not a good look @msnbc.com
Not a good look at all.
A betrayal of your loyal audience & a disaster for your network.

She's saying this like it's a good thing. It's clear she knows as much about business (and governing) as she does about the law,
x Alina Habba: This is what we're about. We're running this county like President Trump runs the Trump Organization. Like Elon Musk running X. That's what we're doing.

Ummm, okay then.

On the one hand, way to look out for number one there MiQe. On the other hand, WTF, it's not like things aren't happening around the globe. Then again, what role will the US and Stefanik have anyway?

Remember this
x Anyway buffoonish hack Ed Martin probably won’t approve charges against right-wingers. So if you’re in DC, deciding what level of force to use against a Trumpist, consider they can kill or assault or rape you without being charged or with the promise of a pardon, and act accordingly.

x So much wrong here including this unctuous toady’s inability to use the apostrophe s properly. See my deployment of “toady’s.”

x After 1,000 National Park Service employees were abruptly fired on February 14, staff banded together to signal “dire distress” by draping an upside-down American flag from the 3,000-foot summit of Yosemite’s iconic El Capitan monolith.

This is big news on a number of levels. BIG: DOGE Firings Found Unlawful by Office of Special Counsel. talkingpointsmemo.com/…
There was a very important development today, still only little-noted in the national press. Government Executive magazine has a good piece on it. The news turns on a decision by the Office of Special Counsel, the head of which, Hampton Dellinger, Trump had only recently tried to fire before being blocked from doing so by a federal judge. The decision specifically deals with six federal employees, each from a different agency, who were recently fired as probationary employees as part of the DOGE purge. Technically, the decision only applies to those six employees. But in a way that is analogous, though not identical, to the way a court ruling works, the findings would likely apply to many other recent DOGE-terminated employees across the federal government.

'Grifter': All hell breaks loose in James Comer's hearing when Dem insults Trump. www.rawstory.com/…
Rep. James Comer (R-KY) threatened to have Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL) escorted from a hearing by the sergeant-at-arms after he repeatedly called President Donald Trump a "grifter." During a House Oversight hearing on Tuesday, Frost criticized the government cuts being made at the recommendation of Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency. You want to talk about making cuts to things like Medicaid, which, by the way, over 35 percent of all the children in this country are covered under Medicaid," Frost said. "People like the grifter-in-chief Trump and President Musk are openly using their public offices to enrich themselves to the tune of billions of dollars." "So if we want to look at waste, fraud, and abuse, which I'm down to do, why is there complete silence on the other side of the aisle about looking at the complete grifter that is the president of the United States and the richest man on the earth, which is looking into things like Social Security and different things like that?" he asked. "Why don't we investigate the real corruption?" At that point, Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) called for Frost's words to be removed from the record. "Would you like to revise your remark with respect to improperly identifying the president of the United States?" Comer asked Frost. "I will say President Musk and Grifter-in-Chief Trump," Frost replied.
