Wow. Shocker.

According to Newsweek, 21 DOGE employees quit on Tuesday “citing their refusal to use their technical expertise to "dismantle critical public services."

Finally, some people on the inside of Elon Musk and Trump’s government are fighting back.

Some of my hope in humanity has been restored.

These are the folks on the front line of Trump’s and Musk’s dismantling of our federal government.

From Newsweek: More Than 20 Staffers Quit Musk's DOGE, Rebuke Trump Admin Government Cuts "We swore to serve the American people and uphold our oath to the Constitution across presidential administrations," the 21 staffers wrote in a joint resignation letter, a copy of which was obtained by The Associated Press. "However, it has become clear that we can no longer honor those commitments." The employees also warned that many of those recruited by Musk to shrink the federal government under President Donald Trump were political ideologues lacking the necessary skills or experience for the task ahead. Many had previously held senior positions at major tech firms like Google and Amazon and had joined the government out of a commitment to public service. According to the staffers, individuals wearing White House visitor badges—some refusing to give their names—questioned them about their qualifications and political affiliations. Some interviewers displayed a limited grasp of technical matters, while many appeared to be young, ideologically driven, and more motivated by admiration for Musk than by a genuine interest in improving government technology.
