Kennedy Center takeover: Trump breaks more than a leg [1]

I'm a writer with a fairly good imagination but honestly this one is so far past my imaginings that it qualifies for YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS SHIT UP status.
What am I going on about? Welp, the Kennedy Center, one of my fave places (along with the Olney Theater, just a quick walk from my house in a DC suburb) for all sorts of live entertainment, was taken over by Trump a few weeks ago and already the box office has experienced a 50% drop in sales, in what is being called a staggering financial loss for the center. And acts are dropping out every day, so there is that to add to the drop in sales. Just two or so weeks in, this whole debacle is like that huge snowball at the top of a very steep slope that as it rolls down the mountain picks up speed, snow and tons of dirt and rocks. It is going to be too big to ignore when it hits bottom---and no I don't mean only that monstrously big snowball. Way to wreck such a lovely cultural icon Donald.
And a big, really weird one? Now, this news is not yet fully confirmed and we all know it may be dicey to believe Steve Bannon, but he announced from the stage of The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) that the J6 Choir is coming to the Kennedy Center to entertain "all of us." And to put the Washington elite in a gulag. Whatever in the heck that even means. As my dad used to say, “Is there no end to the degradation?”
