"Trump's psycho girlfriend"? [1]

File under “The care and feeding of Donald’s ego”. Natalie J. Harp is not unknown to the public and many readers of DKos. A former Anchor on OAN she joined the Orange one’s wider entourage in 2022 and eventually graduated to being his “Human printer”, providing him with a picture book of clips and shots of him. And starting last year was in charge of his phone and texts. But more than that she harbors a level of adoration for the Manhattan con man that is more than just a bit unsettling and now seems more a case study in obsession.



Ever seen the movie “The Story of Adele H”? Some humans can become obsessed with another to a degree that is self destructive. Adele Hugo was the youngest daughter of the famous French Author Victor Hugo. She met a British officer when she was in her early 20s and became obsessed with him and was convinced that they belonged together and that she would be his wife. She pursued him as he was transferred to different posts overseas… and even used his surname. The story did not end well though she lived in a French Asylum from her early 40s until her death at age 85. (she apparently had symptoms of schizophrenia and “erotomania”).



I only mention this because I was reminded of it while watching a YouTube clip about “Felonious Drumph’s “human printer” the subject of this video which explores details of her obsession.

Well, this video is a bit gossipy but fact based. We did see reports of Trump’s shadow, his “human printer” who followed him around with a portable printer which she used to printout “positive” mentions and articles to keep him feeling positive. But she apparently is so fixated on him that the Secret Service or some members allegedly see her as a danger to herself and even DJT. She has been one of the evolving group of attractive young or relatively young women that seem to hang around Donbo… with few staying for more than a couple of years, and he refers to them as “Charlies Angels”. At his age there is not much chance of anything beyond some suggestive banter which is bad enough to imagine. But more than all that, it is a sign of just how much additional ego massaging and distracting is needed to keep Donbo distracted and soothed enough when he is not performing for the camera. He is addicted to adoration and attention so any who provide that in an obsessive way is perfect for his needs regardless of the likely eventual emotional harm to the adoring staff member.



Besides it being unsettling and another set of reminders of how unstable things are, there is no way to predict if the whole “relationship” harms Ms. Harp sooner or later. If he ever gets tired of her or better yet, she wakes up, finally snaps when she experiences a less than wonderful side of him… so much the better for her. It would have to be the last straw sort of thing (I’d say she already has but makes excuses for him) someting that tops whatever she rationalized away in the past. THEN what happens? Will she eventually write a book? Will the Secret Service try and separate or impose some distancing before any likely parting of the ways?



Donbo is very protective of the things that are important to him, Tongue baths from FOX, Fast food, seeing himself on magazine covers, access to an inner circle of sycophants… his ability to get revenge… all the core features of his mental landscape. So until he or she cannot continue, it likely to be a mutually beneficial relationship for all the wrong reasons. I just hope she eventually escapes with some lessons learned about herself and the world. If Donbo crumbles mentally and or physically in the coming months… hopefully enough to reduce the looming additional harm that Musk and Co have in store… and in such a way to help Dems win a big majority next year in the House… will she be able to continue shoring up his now even more assailed delicate ego or maintain her own probable coping mechanisms that make her an obsessive?



Once Donbo really goes off the rails is anyone up to a job like that? And in hindsight if the US really heads into a bad phase, will she be able to see that the object of her Daddy issue obsession is to blame for very dire outcomes and that she HELPED him in doing that damage? whoosh. A lot of burned former Trump insiders have written books, and for good reason. They needed to tell their story and probably do some mea culpa and psyche purging… a moral failing laxative. Should we feel sorry for her? I guess we have to see which post-Trump track she ends up on: wistful loyalist to the end or a bitter rejected or deeply disturbed. Hopefully she will not be an echo of the later years of Adele H.
