The Precipice Gets Nearer. [1]

Yesterday, our feckless, flatulent, and fantastic leader reportedly ordered his master, Leon, to not just continue with his mindless and counter-productive attacks on our country, but to speed up and expand on what he has been destroying before. (Check your local thesaurus for what “fantastic” means) Even Fox News dared to object to some of the worst decisions, stating the obvious, that this is directly and seriously damaging his fan base.
FOX NEWS! Let your mind wrap itself around that fact.
The latest round of obscene decision-making by Leon & DonOld is, in real time, harming the lives, health and finances of many MAGA and other followers. Some are publicly complaining that “We didn’t vote for this!” while others are contacting their MAGA congresscritters and pleading for relief. Still others, a groaning number, are worrying about their own survival, and, for the first time, daring to make their fears known to the public.
Cattle, bird, horse and crop farmers in several very red states suddenly realized that their reliance on critically necessary government programs (weather forecasting, crop rotation, set asides, feed purchases and sales, disease prevention and treatment, water purification, testing, retention, cleaning, piping, storage and well-digging, among other critically important programs) is doomed right now. For years, they took those supports and federal aid for granted, even though tax revenue from their states never came close to covering those costs. It was the blue states that underwrote many of those programs. Ask any addict what happens when a steady supply is suddenly cut off. It ain’t pretty.
When the very red state of Georgia’s own MAGA congress-critter, Rich McCormick, is yelled at by an overflowing crowd of local yokels and former supporters at a town hall, you know the ground is shifting.
Like most bullies, McCormick showed his true colors ( a brilliant shade of Neon yellow) and cancelled a planned interview on CNN. That is not all. He also reportedly cancelled at least one public appearance/fundraiser. Fear leaves a bad taste in one’s maw, apparently.
According to MSN,
One person told McCormick he had done a “disservice” to his constituents. “You don’t think I’m going to stand up for you?” the lawmaker replied, as the town hall booed him. Another pressed McCormick on what he’ll do to “rein in the megalomaniac in the White House.”
If you think this is the only incident, if you think this is something that will pass in the night or go away with the passage of time, or simply disappear from the news, you are wrong.
Every single day, people are being harmed by trump’s policies. In response to the growing uproar, does he change his stripes, spots, or tats? No, such an act is so alien to him (akin to admitting fault or admitting a mistake) that he does what he knows and what he always does - he doubles down.
Trump’s numbers are cratering as we watch. Even funnier, Leon’s support numbers are approaching levels never seen before in any new administration. One hint, the numbers are not at all rosy.
Things are getting so bad, so quickly, that even apolitical folks, who never watch MSNBC or CNN, and who do their damndest to ignore all political topics, are getting upset. And vocal. And angry. I am seeing that with clients who were before, totally uninterested in DC politicks.
While the casual TV consumer does not see the MSM whores reporting on those protests, they are happening, and growing larger, more frequent and much, much louder. Think of a large boulder on the top of a very steep, deeply snow-covered slope, beginning to shift. What happens soon will be used in future videos of train collisions, bridge collapses, plane crashes and other disasters. An avalanche is coming to a slope near you!
As for trump, three things are at play:
A) he is dumb and willfully uninformed
B) He never admits being wrong
C) he loves rubbing other people’s noses in it and watching them scream, holler, complain, or otherwise suffer. Sadism is part and parcel of who and what he is.
Will he change directions? Yeah, like I have a chance of winning the lottery. The answer is “not hardly.”
As for Leon? He is a rich spoiled kid who missed out on all the spankings he truly deserved, leading to his arrogance, energized willfulness and cruelty, and love of control and lust for destruction. He, also, has three things going on:
A) He cheats. Always.
B) He steals the best ideas from others.
C) when cornered, he runs away like a cockroach when the kitchen lights are turned on.
As the inane and mindless cuts continue to harm the US, lets review just a few things he accomplished:
A) he cut all funding for disease treatment and prevention, just as COVID, bird flu and other potential pandemics are showing signs of exploding across this country. Small pox, measles, and flu levels are YUGE, and just wait until polio rears its ugly head again.
B) To celebrate his cutting of FAA staff, the aviation world celebrated with another plane crash.
C) He has cut the heart and brains out of the DOJ, putting career conspiracy theorists and life-long criminals in charge. (He actually has been chasing Michael Flynn around, trying to give him a job)
Remember, (as if you could forget) Trump doesn’t just have to claim victory, he thrives on others’ suffering and tears. Never look to Trump for empathy, sympathy or assistance. That shelf has been empty for decades.
Things to look forward to soon:
A) banking chaos. He threatened to destroy the safeguards we have in place, just to prevent catastrophic losses. Since the Great Depression, future collapses were prevented by solid banking and finance rules. Smarter people stopped him two weeks ago, but this is Trump we are discussing. He will do it anyway and to hell with you and your safe access to your money.
B) Personal data. Your SSA and other data will be used privately, against you. There will be no more privacy. There will be no automatic recognition of your rights under the constitution. You won’t have a fair hearing, nor access to legal counsel.
C) mass arrests. Not just migrants, not just illegal immigrants, but libruls, pols siding with AOC, silent protestors at trump events, and any journalist who dares publish the truth.
D) Massive prison construction. Gitmo will simply not be large enough for all of us.
Heck, when you see Fox fact checking (!) trump on the air, you know something is up.
Things will keep getting worse, at an accelerated pace, until something breaks. The question is what breaks first? Our society, our economy, or our patience?
