Oh, in case you missed it, the Musk-Bannon “parasite feud” may be a ‘MAGA-unraveling’ in the making, worth watching too.

I think you call this Musk tactic, invoking “class warfare” — and not in a good way:

Yes, Musk reposted meme calling Americans who use federal programs the 'Parasite Class'

www.snopes.com

[...] In sum, because Musk did repost a meme that called those who benefit from federal programs the "Parasite Class," we rate this claim as true.

It takes one, to know one, Leon:

Over the last decade, Musk's companies SpaceX and Tesla were awarded at least $18 billion in federal contracts, according to spending data — with SpaceX winning more than $17 billion worth of contracts since 2015. [...] In all, SpaceX has earned more than $5 billion in contracts from the Defense Department. Representatives for Musk, SpaceX and Tesla did not respond to a request for comment from ABC News. abcnews.go.com

His space exploration company SpaceX has received over $20 billion from the federal government over the past 15 years, according to federal spending records. SpaceX CEO Gwynne Shotwell has said that the company has $22 billion in government contracts , Reuters reported. EV company Tesla, whose stock makes up the bulk of Musk’s nearly $400 billion net worth, has benefited from $2.8 billion in tax subsidies or grants, according to subsidy tracker Good Jobs First. The Los Angeles Times calculated in 2015 that Musk’s empire of companies, which includes Tesla, SpaceX, SolarCity and The Boring Company, took in nearly $5 billion in tax breaks. Tesla, SpaceX, and DOGE did not reply to a request for comment from Fortune. fortune.com

Lets see here. Some quick back of the envelope math — DOGE-style:

$22 Billion + 2.8 Billion + 5 Billion + 3.4 Billion + 0.4 Billion = drum-roll …

Equals at least $33.6 Billion that Musk’s companies are leeching off of the American Taxpayers. And that’s not counting the whatever he is gouging Ukraine, NASA, and Defense, [and Putin] for whatever hush-hush favors he does for them, off-the-books.

Don’t expect DOGE’s psychotic “chain-saw” circus to do ANYTHING to end those “Musk parasitic” latching onto our Federal Budget, any time soon.

One evil man, even if he is rich, should not be able to unilaterally dismantle OUR Government.

Congress created these Agencies and their Missions. Congress needs to be the ones to change them.
