Coup consolidation time [1]

Citizens are still trying to figure out how to respond to the initial blitzkrieg phase of our homegrown coup. Meanwhile the coup races ahead as each new assault commands its own news cycle. Some of which is serious and some is merely diversion.
Citizens must anticipate when and how newly appropriated power and control will be consolidated on the way to becoming institutionalized.
Consider: Massive governmental workforce reductions are underway
The stock market dropped 700 points, The fed is raising interest rates. These are not separate events.
The jobs being cut are solid middle class jobs There will be substantial ripple effects in the economy. Investments are taking a big hit — 401Ks just got a lot smaller. Rising interest rates will curtail home purchases. Financial institutions will squeeze lending.
The primary source of personal wealth for most sub millionaires, our homes, will once again be hoovered up by hedge funds. We have seen this game before, haven't we? Or are we going to pretend otherwise?
Our self identified elite oligarchs already control sufficient resources not only to regularly move markets at will but set terms and conditions upon which markets operate. That's a done deal
Billionaires are going to do great If you're not in that club well, you'll get what you get — likely within the range of not enough to nothing. Or less.
When the national economy requires “ rescuing”, as it surely will, what remains our commonwealth will be forfeit.
The earlier patterns of Chile, Greece* and our own great housing theft in 2008. Will be repeated.
Ask yourself how many of the neoliberal architects involved in those thefts went on trial much less did time? How many received influential government positions?
Today Citizens, were are facing the logical outcomes from decades of neoliberal bs. Just as the old Soviet union did when “capitalism” was imported there
Our nation is literally being stolen from us. If we allow it a few will have all while most are left with nothing
It is time to choose. Nobody gets to sit this one out. But be clear Citizens, there is no real choice allowed within the current status quo. There is no easy choice available
* The events in Greece and the near (very near) collapse of Western economies during our own housing theft period ca 2010 share interesting similarities. Fraud is a big one
