Lines in the sand...what would yours be? [1]

Hello community. I want to tap in to the hive mind here. I’m luckier than most because I have the option of leaving the USA and living in another very nice developed country if I choose. This would require me to uproot my family and leave behind home and friends and everything I know. As long as there is hope that the USA can return to something close to “normal”, I would rather stay and do whatever I can to protect our freedoms and democracy.
We have a list of “Lines in the Sand” pasted to the fridge, and we add to it regularly. These are events that have not happened but that would indicate that the USA had passed a point of no return. Or that would indicate that our family (as immigrants, as intellectuals, as NOT Trump supporters) are in imminent danger.
I want your input on this list- are any of them unnecessary? are we missing anything? What would be on your list?
Our current list:
1) if the family breadwinner loses job and health insurance (context- breadwinner is in a highly specialized field and would have difficulty replacing income and health insurance in the current environment)
2) if a specific USA-based member of the family get deported (context- the family member is disabled and would need me to help navigate a return to our native country which we have not lived in since childhood)
3) Women lose the right to vote
4) Women lose the right to manage their own finances
5) Trump says he will close airports (context- this list item was added by one of our kids)
6) If required to renounce other citizenships
7) Imprisonment of politicians and/or reporters for their viewpoints
8) Losing access to needed medications (context- family members take medications that are necessary for mental health, and are on the list of medications that RFK Jr. would have us go to “wellness farms” than rather than take)
Right now, our life seems stable and unaffected by the changes brought about by this current administration. But I don’t want to be the frog that boiled in the water. Already I’m starting to talk myself into thinking that we could live comfortably in an authoritarian government, if we just keep our heads down. Maybe the disruption in our lives wouldn’t be worth it. And so on.
Friends, I would value your insight and advice.
