This place is full of people telling us we are all going to die, and why bother doing a fucking thing about it. This piss-poor behavior was a problem before the Orange Gasbag made a comeback. The absolute failure of the liberal imagination to fight back in any way beyond the rhetoric of learned helplessness. Only a generation ago we had a vibrant Anti-war movement in this country— there was nearly a million people protesting in NYC against the Republican convention in 2004.
The point being: we had more activists who had SKIN in the game, and less people up their own digital asses. The time for catharsis and re-litigation of the same problems is OVER...pick a task, and get busy, or take toxic contributions elsewhere...
