IT IS TIME TO CALL OUT THE “CHINOS” [1]

Things to consider:
Jesus Christ drove the moneychangers out of the temple :
"Then Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those selling doves. And He declared to them, 'It is written: My house will be called a house of prayer. But you are making it a den of robbers.'" (Matthew 21:12-13)
And
“When Jesus entered the temple courts, he began to drive out those who were selling. “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be a house of prayer’; but you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’” (Luke 19:45-46)
In contrast, Donald Trump has embraced the 3 richest persons in the world, whom he invited to stand behind him during his inauguration ceremony.
Those 3 include: Mark Zuckerberg, $238 billion; Jeff Bezos, $250 billion; Elon Musk, $421 billion.
Together, the wealth of just those 3 increased by over $50 billion in just the one month since the inauguration.
Once again quoting the bible :
Matthew 19:24 – “And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.”
Coincidence??? Trump refused to place his hand on the bible as he was sworn in as president!
This essay in Baptist News has some very interesting thoughts on this. It also noted surprise that so many Christians say they are supporting someone who:
Stated they don’t need to repent because they don’t do anything wrong
Was unable to name a Bible passage they found inspiring
Declared no one had done more for Christianity than themselves
Bragged about sexually assaulting multiple women
Had no record of active church attendance
The bible makes clear (e.g., in Mathew 25) that Jesus said people will be judged based on what they have done to help the least among u s.
Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ (Mathew 25:37-40)
In contrast, Donald Trump has commissioned Elon Musk, the single richest person in the world, to destroy numerous U.S. government agencies that exist to help the hungry and poor, including particularly the U.S. AID agency, which directly helps reduce starvation and disease amongst the literally poorest people on the planet.
In the parable of the rich man Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1-10) a rich and widely regarded evil man achieves salvation from Jesus after committing to giving away his wealth and repaying all he has cheated :
“ 8 But Zacchaeus stopped and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, half of my possessions I now give to the poor, and if I have cheated anyone of anything, I am paying back four times as much!” 9 Then Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this household,” (Luke 19:8-9)
In contrast, Donald Trump is slashing programs for the poor and middle class, and insisting on a huge $4 trillion tax cut, that would primarily further reduce taxes for the rich and large corporations!
CONCLUSION: If you call yourself a Christian, and after all of the above you still support Donald Trump…. you are a CHINO.
