Greater Canada: A conciliatory proposal [1]

The Canadians obviously don't want to become the 51st US state (or the 51-62 states). Neither Justin Trudeau nor his successor want to become governor under a mad king. Given the destructiveness and erratic behavior of the (still) US “president”, Canadians would understandably prefer to remain a parliamentary monarchy than join a monarchical dictatorship under the mad ruler Donald the Orange. Conversely, many of King Donald's subjects do not want to recognize him as their God-given ruler. So it makes sense for the renegade provinces to join the Canadian Empire as the new Southern Canada!
As a German citizen, I know about the two extremely successful annexations of our German territory in 1938 (in the south) and 1990 (in the east), when the new citizens euphorically cheered the new ruler(s) Adolf (1938) and Helmut (1990); (the territory acquired in 1938 was lost again for reasons that a bit complicated).
My proposal would be that the (then former) US states or territories of New York, California, Oregon, Washington, Washington DC, Hawaii,Virginia, Minnesota, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maryland, Vermont, Dalaware, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine and Rhode Island merge to form the 8 New Canadian provinces of New York, Minnesota, Hawaii,Virginia, South Columbia, Queen Califaland, South Brunswick and Canadian Caribbean.
The New Canadian citizens would enjoy truly free elections, universal health care, freedom of speech and an effective and fair justice system! The Old Canadian citizens are excited about new sunny domestic holiday destinations in Hawaii and Queen Califaland.
The Canadian provinces would grow to 20, a round and manageable number. The Greater Canadian population would then grow to 161 million people, while the U.S. population would drop to 220 million. King Donald could make Mar-a-Lago the new imperial capital and conquer new Lebensraum in Greenland, Legoland, Gaza and Panama to make America great again. Non-jubilant Donald subjects would be given the opportunity to emigrate to Canada or Mexico.
With the consistent deportation policy under King Donald and the health policy of his court jester JFK Jr., the population of the Donaldanian Empire will soon fall below that of Greater Canada, but the population will be more Aryan than before. A win-win situation for all concerned! Make Canada Greater Canada again!
