It takes only ONE senator to slowwwwwwww Senate business down to a crawl. We saw this done multiple, multiple times during McConnell’s time as minority leader. Tommy Tuberville stopped every single senior military officer from getting promoted for months by withholding it. Gym Jordan, Rand Paul and other GOP senators frustrated Dem efforts again and again by delaying votes. So just what is unanimous consent?
The Senate often regulates consideration of a matter by means of a unanimous consent agreement … which typically regulates one or more of the following: (1) initiating consideration, (2) amendments, (3) time for debate, (4) motions, (5) concluding consideration and (6) subsequent proceedings.
And it takes only one senator to invoke it.

You get the point. The Senate has almost 87 resolutions and almost 200 nominations to consider so far. Democratic senators can’t stop Republicans from confirming these worst of the worst to this Cabinet of the Truly Evil, Idiots and Fools. But they could sure slowwwww them down. And they’re not.
Yes, Dem Senators are voting no on cloture and no to some of these nominees. But over and over and over again, they refuse to use the power that each and every single senator has to slow President Pond Skum and The Traitor down. They keep bringing tablecloths and napkins to a knock down, drag out, gun fight to destroy our democracy.
