In the middle of night, right now, Republican Senators are voting to cut Medicaid and the safety net [1]

In the dead of night, while most Americans are asleep. It's past midnight, and I'm watching a horror show on the TV. And it's not Dracula or Halloween 3.

It's our US Senate voting to pass massive spending cuts that Donald Trump ordered. These are deep, deep spending cuts to every program so Trump can have a big nice tax cuts for the rich later this summer.

As you read this, Republican Senators are voting for massive cuts to Medicaid, Food Stamps and our social safety net

Senate trudges through vote-a-rama to ready a massive budget to cut all our social programs.

But good luck making any sense of the massive hundreds of billions and trillions of dollars being cut. It's just a parade of digits next to the fiscal year. It would take a rational person with a giant Excel spreadsheet days of research and analysis to figure now big the Republican spending cuts are hidden in this bill.

Don't be afraid of leaving a voice message saying you are a constituent with your zip code.

Tell your friends and families, they'd better be ready pick up granny and grandpa at their nursing home, since most are funded by Medicaid. Grandma and grandpa will be waiting on the nursing home curb waiting for you to pick them up.
