With us being in the middle of the shit show I expected should Trump win, I keep reflecting on our electorate. About 35 % are hard core MAGA or GOP. I really thought that was Trumps ceiling as nobody else in their right mind would vote for him but I was wrong big time.
To be of voting age you have to have lived through the prior shit show which looks like paradise in hindsight next to 2.0. But about 15% of voters (set aside the 33% who never vote for some reason, they let others decide their future) decided the racist felon sex offender was a good idea. Does anyone have a theory on why? Wasn't it obvious how this would look? He didn't hide any of his intentions but they didn't believe him, or selectively believed what they wanted to. Any ideas?
