Back in the first Trump regime, the Donald visited Mt. Vernon. According to POLITICO, he was surprised that Washington, a big real-estate developer, didn't name anything after himself.
"'If he was smart, he would’ve put his name on it,' Trump said, according to three sources briefed on the exchange. 'You’ve got to put your name on stuff or no one remembers you.'"
Now Trump has declared himself king after forcing NY City to revoke its congestion toll. “CONGESTION PRICING IS DEAD. Manhattan, and all of New York, is SAVED,” he wrote on Truth Social, “LONG LIVE THE KING!” This post was accompanied by a TIME-like pseudo-cover of Trump wearing a crown with the words LONG LIVE THE KING "bigly" displayed for all to see. Did Cylon Musk let him do this?
We have no kings in the United States. A President is not a king. After all the chaos that has been forced upon the American people in the past few weeks, this is nothing to joke about. In view of the chaos that can be caused in the next four years, this is not a joke. It's a promise and a threat.
God help the United States.
