Fox Propaganda Does Some Herculean Spinning About Trump's DECLINING Approval Numbers. [1]

At first, I wasn’t going to write a diary about the latest public opinion polls about Trump because they only showed that Trump has declined in popularity by a few points (All three latest polls have him underwater though with regards to approval/disapproval numbers). However, when I saw the headline from FOX PROPAGANDA, I just had to share it with the rest of folks here on Daily Kos. It seems that Fox appears “surprised” about the latest poll numbers, considering all of Trump’s — ahem — accomplishments.

Notice that subheading. Fox gushes about the“frenetic pace” that Trump has set in demolishing the government, and the propagandists there think that Americans should be happy about all that. By the way, ABSOLUTELY NO MENTION OF HIGHER INFLATION as a possible cause for Trump’s lack of popularity.
Forty-five percent of voters questioned in a Quinnipiac University survey said they approve of the way Trump is handling his job as president, with 49% disapproving… A new national poll from Gallup indicated the president at 45% approval and 51% disapproval, down from 47%-48% approval/disapproval late last month… And according to a Reuters/Ipsos national survey also released on Wednesday, the president stood at 44% approval and 51% disapproval. Trump registered at 45%-46% approval/disapproval in the previous poll by Reuters/Ipsos, which was conducted late last month during the first week of the president's second administration.
Sounds like maybe some of the idiots who voted for Trump have been grocery shopping lately. But instead, Fox is just delirious with joy about Trump’s wrecking crew.
Trump has kept up a frenetic pace during his opening weeks back in the White House, with an avalanche of executive orders and actions. His moves not only fulfilled some of his major campaign trail promises, but also allowed the returning president to flex his executive muscles, quickly put his stamp on the federal government, make major cuts to the federal workforce, and also settle some longstanding grievances.
Wow! Look at all that action! It’s gotta be good! Who fucking needs government employees! Happy times are here again!!!
OK. Maybe only for Republicans, who still give Trump a 93% approval rating. By the way, Democrats only give him 4%, while independents are at 37%. But Trump is oh so better than the previous guy Biden, who everyone just couldn’t stand, according to Fox.
Yes, it’s Bizzaro World again.
This is to be expected, and as things get worse, which they will, you can bet that Fox will be there to not tell their dumbass viewers simple facts. In fact, it’s like that old Southern saying over at Fox but inverted. It goes, “Don’t piss down my back and call it rain.” Instead, it’s going to be “That’s a shower of gold you are feeling warming your backside!” Or simply, a golden shower.
But’s it’s going to be more difficult to act like Big Brother when we are suffering from stagflation later this year. People tend to notice when inflation rises and we have less jobs. That’s why Joe Biden will be the whipping boy for Trump and Fox for all eternity, despite the frenetic pace that King Trump sets.
