Administration Proposes 40% Cut In Military Spending [1]

The Trump Administration has announced a cut in military spending of 40% over the next five years, according to the Washington Post. The proposed reduction amounts to 8% for each of the next five years.

As Americans, we have been told we need to have the strongest military in the world. For many members of Congress, it is the most important thing. For the people who support those members of Congress, the military is everything.
But now, the Administration has decided that was all nonsense and a strong military is no longer necessary.
Has the president lost his mind, or is he just lying as usual? Maybe we will subcontract national defense to North Korea. It’s hard to know what is going on.
