A simple message to last year's Trump supporters who now feel "voter's remorse." [1]

I have already expressed my feelings about this quite often in the past month, so I thought it would not hurt to go ahead and write a full diary.
To those of you Trump voters (no matter if you are MAGA or non-MAGA) who are just now waking up and perhaps starting to regret your vote for him, I have one simple message for you:
I have NO sympathy for you. Zero, none, nada, zilch, zip.
And I cannot say that I feel much sympathy for third-party voters who knew darned well that a third-party vote was a vote for Trump, or perhaps those eligible voters who had the time, energy, and knowledge about voting in the election but didn't bother to get to the booth to do so. Don't you feel completely left out of this, either, because you share some of the blame as well. You are intended recipients for this message also.
Last year, in the months leading up to November, you were warned by Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and the Harris/Walz campaign staff about the Orange Dude and the damage and destruction he would cause if he were to be sworn in for a second term. The warnings were many, including, but not necessarily limited to:
The threats against our democracy and Constitution
The threats of tariffs
The threats of mass deportation
The threats against public education, including book banning and burning
The threats against the Affordable Care Act, Medicare, and Medicaid
The threats against Social Security
The threats of political violence, including past acts like 01/06/2021
The assault on our federal government institutions
The lawlessness and corruption of Trump and the GQP
Attacks on women’s rights, birth control, and contraception
Attacks on equal opportunity, civil rights, diversity, and inclusion
Attacks on transgender rights
Attacks on any common sense human rights in general
Potentially holding Ukrainian war aid hostage
No meaningful solutions to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict
The Orange Dude's lackluster campaign performance, deteriorating health, and endless narcissistic and sociopathic anger should have been red flags as well.
Instead, you chose to ignore all of this. You had to vote for him just because you thought that eggs and milk were too high at the grocery store. So far, under your Orange Buffoon, eggs and milk are still expensive, and most likely won't come down anytime soon. He doesn't even care. And hell, need I add that inflation in the United States was coming down under Biden, and that our inflation rate was significantly lower than the rest of the world!
I digress.
Yes, I will admit that Harris was far from a perfect candidate. She did make some serious mistakes on the campaign trail. However, she was brilliant and talented, and she would have been a million times better than that pathetic excuse of a human being you selected instead. Anyone remember the second presidential debate? It's still fresh in my mind as though it took place just last night. Harris literally prosecuted the Orange Menace on that stage right in front of those debate moderators, the rest of the country, and perhaps even the rest of the world. It was a hell of a night for her. On the other hand, the Orange Menace's Adderall started to wear down about 10 minutes into that debate. Then, he descended into madness for the rest of the time. Meanwhile, Harris kept her cool and got straight to the point the whole way through. It should've been pretty obvious who the better choice was, right?
But nooooooo.
From now on, I am going to support foreign-based businesses and brands as much as possible, such as Tim Hortons, 7-Eleven, ALDI, InterContinental Hotel Group, IKEA, H&M, Lindt, Ferrero Rocher, and Samsung. I will buy from Etsy or Depop instead of Amazon, and try to purchase products from sellers abroad whenever I can. I will do my best to try and avoid American-based businesses that are headquartered in solid red or predominantly red states. If I walk into any establishment that has anything on full display that remotely suggests Trump or MAGA (e.g., Trump/MAGA flags, tattered American flags, Confederate flags, or any nonsensical propaganda about the Second Amendment or God/religion), and/or has their televisions blaring with FOX "News" or Newsmax, I will immediately turn around and walk out without saying a word. I used to frequent Dearborn, MI to buy from the various Middle Eastern stores, restaurants, and bakeries there; I will no longer support them. I will never set foot in the South again. As a bonus, I will be applying to receive my passport in the next month, which will be valid for 10 years. This summer, I am going to start traveling up to Canada to give them more of my dollars. I vow to use my passport for each and every one of those 10 years, and while in Canada, I will be supporting Canadian-based businesses and brands as often as I can. During at least one of those 10 years, I may travel to western and central Europe and support them too.
In closing, for you formerly pro-Trump now turned anti-Trumpers who slept through your alarm clocks and woke up too late, I will leave you with one more brief message:
You will deserve every bit of suffering that is coming your way.
And it's a damn shame because a lot of good, sane, thinking people in America with common sense are going to suffer also.
