This will be brief. A Delta Airlines Endeavor Flight 4819, out of Minneapolis crashed on landing at Toronto’s Lester Person International. Apparently the Mitsubishi CRJ-900LR rolled in landing and tore the regional airliner’s wings off. The fuselage ended up in an inverted position, relatively close to an Air Canada facility. According to local police sources ‘all passengers and crew are accounted for’. Only 8 people were reported as injured. There are no fatalities — which looking at the scene, I find to be amazing. What a good idea to gut the safety side of the FAA!
