On Valentine's Day, Donald put up an article on The White House website called : Wins Come All Day Under Donald J. Trump. Self-serving pat on the back, PR fluff garbage. A weekly report card. The items listed were:
Marc Fogel being released from Russia and another hostage from Belarus. Those are positive. The reason they were released probably was Trump talking to Putin and stabbing Ukraine in the back.
The Steel Manufacturers Association was really pleased with Trump's new 25% tariff on all imported steel. The U.S. imports 25% of its steel needs. This means U.S. steel manufacturers can raise their prices, and the price of everything made from it goes up. Great job, Donald.
His reciprocal trade tariffs are made to seem brilliant by listing his grievance of unfair playing field again. Let's just see how much the American consumer can take before he revolts.
Trump spoke with Putin and Zelensky. Note that Putin gets top billing, being called first, so then Trump can call Zelensky and give him the bad news.
He met with King Abdullah of Jordan who said he would help 2,000 sick children from Gaza. This does not excuse all the other stuff.
Trump saw India's Prime Minister Modi. They're on the same page because Modi also hates Muslims. But he's also normalized abuses and violence against Christians, and other minorities. I'll bet they didn't talk about that. They announced "new deals."
The Dept. of Energy unveiled a new liquefied natural gas project. Biden tried to ban LNG exports last year. Good for Europe that needs it after the shutdown of using Russian gas. Still bad for the environment.
Trump ordered that all foreign policy is directed by him. So, Trump is responsible for JD Vance and Hegseth selling out Ukraine. Give away any bargaining chips you had, or Zelensky had. I don't call this winning at all. More like treason.
Paused the enforcement of the Foreign Corruption Practices Act so Donald can be more corrupt. Everybody gets to bribe again without consequences. Justified by making a level playing field so we can do what other countries do. Bribe and accept bribes. Sure, that's a win for the American people.
Takes credit for Hamas releasing more hostages. Somehow I think Israel and Qatar had something to do with it.
He blackmailed Taiwan to invest in the U.S. or there would be tariffs.
We're supposed to be proud that he attended the Super Bowl.
He ordered the Treasury to stop making pennies, or cent coins that cost 3.69 cents to make. Now there will be a new demand on nickels, which cost 11 cents to make. Way to go, Donald.
Even having disastrous nominees confirmed he credits himself with.
He banned Covid-19 inoculation mandates at schools that receive federal funding. He can be really proud when children die because of him. Boy, that's so much winning.
He signed an executive order to get rid of paper straws and stick with plastic. I still think my idea about making reusable straws out of fiberglass is a great idea.
Because it has anything to do with climate change, he shut down the "Climate Corps" work program. He just loves being led around by the nose by Project 2025.
Trump just loves that Musk has gotten 75,000 government workers to take the resignation deal. The cost to the government is incalculable, in so many ways besides money. He's also got a new plan that we didn't hear about, where for every new employee that is hired, four other ones have to resign. Impossible to make work.
Trump eliminated the Federal Executive Institute, which I did a diary on, showing how the government will hire untrained individuals that will screw up the government. No people who will be leaders.
The Boards of Visitors in all the Armed Forces were all fired, ready to be filled in by Trump loyalists and their anti-woke ideologies.
Pete Hegseth is hard at work in restoring treasonous Confederate names to military installations.
Gulf of America Day for February 9th was created and he strong-armed Google Maps and Apple Maps to show the new name.
A suit was filed against officials in New York for refusing to follow his illegal immigration plans
Biden environmentalists were disappointed when Trump canceled tens of millions of dollars to environmental advocacy groups. Of course, he also ordered an investigation into the uses of the money the EPA was giving out. Can't work to stop climate change, because stopping it is so evil. We don't need to breathe or drink water.
Federal lawsuits were filed against Minnesota for allowing trans to compete in women's sports. Following through on his campaign promises of persecuting trans. The head of the NCAA said there were maybe 10 trans in college sports out of 500,000. All this for 0.00002% of the athletes. This is not winning. It's criminal.
He ordered the release of 24,000 more documents on the JFK assassination that the FBI found. The problem is that not even the first batch he ordered after taking office are available anywhere. The only thing that shows up on the National Archives is releases from and 2017 and 2018. There's nothing on the Federal Register either.
The one we all really remember from this week was Trump anointing himself as the new Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Kennedy Center. Unsurprisingly, the Board voted for him unanimously. Or else.
Chicago's Lurie Children's Hospital stop performing gender affirming care and operations, due to threats created by Trump's executive order. When children commit suicide, that will be on you Donald Trump.
Two more organizations bowed down to Trump's DEI ban. PBS eliminated its DEI office. Disney eliminated two DEI programs.
Lastly, Trump ordered the evil CFPB shuttered and blamed the agency's nefarious schemes as the "brainchild of Elizabeth Warren." She must be evil, too. He actually had that written.
Donald's week was busy creating havoc for government agencies, government employees, screwing up the economy, persecuting minorities, creating racism in the guise of helping poor oppressed white people here and in South Africa, destroying Ukraine's negotiating options for ending the war, eliminated efforts of battling climate change, and making us more financially insecure and targets for fraud, usury interest on credit cards, overdraft fees and more.
April 12, 2016, at a campaign rally:
"We're going to win so much, you may get tired of winning. And you'll say, 'Please please, it's too much winning. We can't take it anymore. Mr. President, it's too much.'"
Donald, we just can't stand all this winning.
