More good news from the area south of Pokrovsk.
This will put extra pressure on the Russians in that salient in the village of Kotlyne that is northwest of Pishchane and in the village of Shevchenko, which is southeast of Pishchane.
x Ukrainian forces have liberated the village of Pishchane in Donetsk Oblast, about 5 km south of Pokrovsk. Russian troops have also reportedly been pushed back from several nearby settlements. This is reported by spokesman for the Khortytsia Regional Administrative District Viktor Tregubov.

Pokrovsk continues to be the most active area along the front.
The General Staff reported that Russian troops stepped up their attacks on the battlefield significantly on 15 February, with 250 combat clashes as of 22:00. The largest number, 67, took place on the Pokrovsk front. The total number of assaults increased two and a half times compared to the previous day.
That’s a damn shame about your shiny new thermobaric launcher. The TOS-2 is a tracked, 220-mm updated version of the TOS-1A and this is believed to be the first one turned to scrap metal.
x The new Russian MLRS 'flamethrower' TOS-2, which was recently ceremoniously sent to the front, quickly became a pile of wreckage, reportedly on the Pokrovsk front.

Russia continues to burn through men and machines in an attempt to retake the Kursk area. This is Russia’s infamous 155th Marine brigade, which has been destroyed and reconstituted numerous times since the start of the war. It is also the unit that was accused of beheading four Ukrainians and putting their heads on poles.
x 1/2: First images of the destruction of the RF's 155th Marine Brigade armored assault near #Nikiskii, #Kursk AO, earlier today. Note that the vehicles are flying the red soviet flag which is considered the "victory" flag. This is known as "premature v-flagulation." #OSINT #Russia #UkraineWar

x /2. "Right now it's just a complete mess near Nikolskoye. The 155th column, fucking hell, under red flags, like at a parade, went head-on into a swarm of Ukrainian drones along a mined road!!!! Don't rub your eyes, we wrote everything correctly - precisely under the red flags of Victory… — 🦋Special Kherson Cat🐈🇺🇦 (@specialkhersoncat.bsky.social) February 16, 2025 at 6:50 AM
x How many times has the 155th "Kamikaze" Marine Brigade been wiped out already? The Russian command seems obsessed with throwing them into suicidal assaults, only for the world to watch their columns get annihilated. From Vuhledar-2022 to Kursk-2025, these zombies are fighting the wrong people.

The 155th is also taking some heat for leaving the North Koreans high and dry.
x The Russians once again abandoned their North Korean allies. North Korean units and Russian Navy infantry staged a retreat from Nikolsky in the Kursk region, with 50-100 fighters leaving their positions. Z-channels blame the Russian 155th Brigade for mysteriously failing to provide support.

Our allies were one step away from liberating the Nikolskiy hamlet in the Mala Loknya area. As of last night, they were under intense fire but still controlled 80% of the settlement. They had been waiting for reinforcements from the 155th Brigade for several days, but those never came (hello, Gudkov). This morning, North Korean assault troops began gradually leaving Nikolskiy in organized groups. Maybe there's a special attitude toward foreign fighters, but for some reason, it doesn't feel right to blame them for the "surrender" of Nikolskiy. What else were they supposed to do when they had completed their task, yet neighboring units simply turned a blind eye? This isn't just some misunderstanding—it's an element of betrayal. It's unlikely to affect our further cooperation, but it still doesn't look good in front of our allies. One simple question—why???
Ukrainian snipers in action.
x A sniper pair from Gray Area Group destroys an assault group of four Russians during night time at a distance of 580 meters, .338LM caliber. #Ukrainian snipers are legends. They set records. And they do it on the battlefield, defending their land from the enemy.

A Russian rocket launcher gets a visit from Dr. HIMARS.
“Fuck this shit” indeed. 🤣🤣
Ukraine’s drone development takes a quantum leap.*
*Sorry, I couldn’t help it. 😅
Bandages? Who needs bandages?
x A wounded Russian complains about the lack of beds in a Rostov hospital, and he was only given water half a day later. He also mentions not receiving bandages, stating that according to his contract, he should have already died, and expresses his deep "gratitude" to his "beloved" homeland.

It’s been a while since we heard anything from the Antonivskyi Bridge, which spans the Dnipro River at Kherson.
x Suicide attempt. Russians tried to deliver infantry to the Antonivskyi Bridge near the Dachi village in the Kherson region, but Ukrainian drone operators are awake there.

Zombie truck.
Ukraine is getting pretty good at intercepting Russian drones.
x Onboard footage of Ukrainian Navy vessels downing Russian attack drones over the Black Sea with their L3Harris VAMPIRE SAM systems. Each intercept relies on a low-cost APKWS laser-guided rocket.

Another 1,730 Russians. Only 5 tanks this time but 84 armored vehicles.
The guy with the gun needs to take more assassination lessons.
x Russia: Assassination attempt on Ilez Nalgiev, former police chief of Karabulak in occupied Republic of Ingushetia. He is hospitalized with a gunshot wound.
The police chief was convicted of torturing a detainee and sentenced to 8 years in prison in 2012.

The Czech Republic steps up.
x 🇨🇿🇺🇦 Czechia to continue initiative to supply artillery ammunition to Ukraine. Petr Pavel: "We have received enough resources from our allies to cover Ukraine’s needs until April 2025, and here at the conference I also held talks with allies to consider the possibility of providing more resources."

Whether Ukraine and/or Europe are to be included/considered in any peace talks depends on who you talk to — typical Trump chaos.
x National Security Adviser Waltz denies claims that Ukraine and Europe aren't included in peace talks. He stresses their consultation but adds talks are under Trump leadership. Rubio also confirms upcoming Saudi talks with Russia, stating "the next few days" will show if Putin is serious about peace

We’ll see if this turns out to be true.
x Elections in Ukraine will take place on October 26, 2025, — Former Ukrainian President Poroshenko. He claims to have this information from sources in the President’s Office, law enforcement, and the state printing plant "Ukraine," which is reportedly calculating the required number of ballots.

I guess if you can find a Russian soldier who will rescue a puppy, you should write a book about him.
x Mobilized Senior Lieutenant Миржанов Роман Шафкатович (Mirzhanov Roman Shafkatovich), commander of a platoon, 1486th Guards Motor Rifle Regiment, rescued a puppy in the trenches, was liquidated on 30 June ’23 near Berkhivka, Bakhmut Raion and now a book will be written about him!

Good question.
This loser was invited along with the Treasury Department team that visit Kyiv and tried to strong-arm Zelenskyy into signing away Ukraine’s mineral rights.
My guess is that he was the political minder on the trip.
x Jack Posobiec said Bucha never happened, pushed the biolabs conspiracy and retweets Dugin. Trump has sent this man as part of his delegation to Ukraine. That's all you need to know about the respect he has for Zelensky.

Meanwhile, In Georgia, the massive protests against the government continue.
So Trump wants to go to the rescue of Lukashenko now.
x That’s exactly what Putin wants. It seems like the American government is working together with Russia to destroy all of Europe, and it’s only in our hands to stop it. Europe must completely stop trading with Russia and Belarus. Stop playing with Russian terrorism, or it will come to your homes.

Speaking of Belarus.
x Zelensky: Ukrainian intelligence indicates Russia is forming 10-15 divisions of 100,000 troops to be sent to Belarus this summer under the guise of exercises. These troops in Belarus could attack Ukraine or other European neighbors.

You know your country is FUBAR when beer is the smart economic choice.
x Russians can't stop drinking because dairy is more expensive than alcohol. The price of cottage cheese is already six times higher than the cost of a bottle of beer, so the choice is obvious for many.

These poor horses need to be liberated.
