I’m a Christian. I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I have a close personal relationship with Him. My faith gives me strength and guidance in everything I do. I am certain that the Bible is the infallible Word of God, and it is my instruction manual for how to live my life.

I lied. I’m actually not a Christian and never have been. And pardon my bluntness, but I think that the Bible is mostly full of shit.

What’s my point? When you read the first paragraph, you probably believed that I meant what I wrote. My point is that if I can falsely claim to be a Christian, so can anyone else. Many self-proclaimed “Christians” who wear little crosses around their necks or even run big churches don’t actually believe in the Christian doctrine anymore than I do.

If you were fooled by me, you could also be fooled by other people who claim to be Christians in order to win your trust or swindle you in some way. Any asshole can say the words “I’m a Christian”! Those who say it the most frequently are usually the biggest phonies, trying extra hard to convince people. Don’t be fooled!
