Zelenskyy is being quite blunt about the circus that the Trump Administration has created around the idea of stopping the war.

His comments in Munich sound very much like they are coming from someone who no longer has any fucks to give because he really doesn’t like what he is hearing.

x 😳🇸🇦 "I saw someone saying that there will be a meeting in Saudi Arabia at the level of the presidents of the US and Russia. Some kind of peace talks. They even put up our flag... I don't know what this is. This is not serious," — Zelensky

x ‼️ "Putin seems to be the most influential member of NATO. His whims block the Alliance's decisions," — Zelensky ▪️"Russia must return at least to the borders of 2022: otherwise, everyone will start comparing where the border was under Biden and where it was under Trump."

Kellogg flatly states that Europe will not be a party to peace negotiations.

x 🇺🇸🇺🇦 "US will continue to finance Ukraine, but the killings must stop," — Kellogg 🇪🇺🚫 "Ukraine will be at the negotiating table, but Europe will not be there," he added. ❗️"Trump will not give up key interests in ending the war," — Kellogg

Europeans are coming to the realization that J.D. Vance really is that awful.

x U.S. Vice President JD Vance stunned those watching on Feb. 14 when his speech at the Munich Security Conference turned into a searing attack on Europe's ideals and a call to embrace far-right political parties.

The Russian drone that struck the protective shield around the Chornobyl reactor was a Shahed.

According to Oleksandr Titarchuk, chief engineer of the State Specialized Enterprise "Chornobyl NPP", if the drone had deviated by just 15-20 meters, it would have hit the old sarcophagus of the power unit, and the consequences would have been far worse.Titarchuk says that the drone pierced the confinement structure and exploded inside.

Today’s lesson in Ukrainian vs. Russian spelling of names.

x And once we’re on it: it’s Chornobyl, not chernobyl. Yes you guessed it. chernobyl is how russians call it. — Margo Gontar (@margogontar.bsky.social) February 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM

Ukraine sees some success south of Pokrovsk.

What its interesting about this to me is who the Russians had defended this village — a newly formed unit called Frigate made up of Baltic Fleet naval personnel.

x The Ukrainian 68th Jaeger Brigade conducted a small tactical attack into the village of Dachens'ke, south of Pokrovsk. Possibly trying to exploit weak Russian positions manned by the Russian Baltic Fleet Motorized Rifle Regiment.

We have no forces left, we don't know what else to do. The sky is completely under the Ukrainians' control. We can't move more than 3 km past Selidove — everything is getting burned to hell. There are a lot of drones with optics, and all dirt roads are monitored 24/7. Rotation is simply impossible. We have to walk 18 km on foot. Water, food, and fuel are becoming a critical issue. Heating isn't even worth mentioning— guys are literally freezing in their positions. Deliveries are completely impossible. As for the drones that aren't equipped with optics, the Ukrainians have found a gap where we don't have electronic warfare coverage-frequencies between 1020 and 2100. They are actively using them. A few days ago, we lost two excellent fighters-they simply never made it to their position. Drones. We're not allowed to cut open the roofs of our Bukhankas-they say it's "equipment on the balance sheet." So you're riding in a van like in a coffin, seeing and hearing nothing. Personal vehicles are banned. Everything is hitting Novotroitske and the nearby rear areas-artillery, MRS, and even some rockets we haven't heard before. Judging by the sound, they're something new. In short, it's a complete disaster. No one understands how to operate in these conditions. The Ukrainians are hammering us hard, relentlessly. If they don't start using glide bombs here as densely as in Avdijvka, we're not moving forward.

Another ammo dump goes bavovna.

“Coming out of hell”

x Returning from the battlefield, Russian soldiers express relief, saying they are "coming out of hell." One soldier recounts how their comrade, who stayed with them, was caught in a barrage, suffered severe wounds, and was left covered in blood, mud, and filth.

A Russian volunteer goes on a rant about how Ukrainian drones are chewing up Russian troops and their electronic warfare equipment is “trash.”

x A Russian volunteer has “exploded”: she’s lamenting the absence of EW systems, which results in “boys” dying needlessly in bloody assaults, while Ukrainian EW jams "everything." Full video: t.me/wartranslated

Russians looting an apartment joke that they aren’t really looters because it’s wartime and they only take what they need.

x Russian occupiers in Selydove, while "carrying out the objectives of the special military operation," debate whether their actions—looting civilian homes—constitute looting and theft or are merely the collection of war trophies.

A beautiful essay on life in Kharkiv.
