THE DOGE IS NOT NEEDED AND IS NOT A SERIOUS EFFORT TO find waste, fraud, and abuse. “USAspending is the official open data source of federal spending information, including information about federal awards such as contracts, grants, and loans.” This site began operating in 2007 as part of the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act signed into law by President Bush. The information readily available on this website shows why DOGE is not needed. The DOGE is more about theatrical provocation and less about uncovering ways in which our tax dollars are squandered. As for that, exactly what waste, fraud, and abuse has the DOGE found?
