We strive to nourish community by rounding up some of the site's best, funniest, most mojo'd & most informative commentary, and we depend on your help!! So yeah, I’ve been slowly but surely tuning back into the news as as the complete wreck that is the Trump Administration is beginning to take effect. I don’t have much of a comment on it that I don’t diary elsewhere.
I do have to say this...We were warned a couple of days ago that there would be major snow, 3-6 inches (lol!) Schools were closing, people were being allowed to go home early, it was front page news, the incoming snowstorm was at the top of newscasts. And...
1.2-1.3 inches.
Barely enough to shovel. Hell, some people seem to have been so insulted that they didn’t shovel (if they owned a private residence, that is).
Now we’re supposed to get more snow this weekend, 1-3 inches, they say.
I would say that I won’t hold my breath but...I don’t dare tempt the Chicago weather gods. And it has been bitterly cold, although the longest bitter cold has lasted this winter has been a couple of days.
I’m having a major change in my work schedule starting next week. I will not be losing any of my time and I will be working on days that I don’t work now...which means that I will get Fridays off!
I initially greeted the change with some skepticism but I could learn to like this.

The idiots claimed their vote for Trump was about the economy. This comment from leftangler begs to differ. From kos’ front page post Trump wants inflation to go up. Nothing else explains his actions.
