Trump can't stop violating the Constitution [1]

It wasn't a mandate.
Even in Tennessee, where Donald Trump won nearly 2,000,000 votes and earned all 11 electoral votes with 64.2% of ballots cast, Trump didn't have a majority of the Tennessee voting public's support.
With 4,652,300 registered voters in Tennessee, Trump only won 42.3% of registered voters. And that doesn't include eligible voters who weren't registered.
Acting as if this 42% of Tennessee voters is a "mandate" not only ignores the facts, it also widens the gap between elected officials and the people they are supposed to represent.
When a President is elected, he or she is elected to protect and defend the Constitution and faithfully execute the laws. The President is not empowered to ignore laws he or she doesn't want to follow. This isn't optional. It's literally the job of the President of the United States. That's what Presidents solemnly swear to do.
We already know that Donald J. Trump lies and breaks promises. We know that he is both unwilling to follow the rules and incapable of admitting that he's wrong.
It is the duty of the House of Representatives to impeach the President for failing to keep his oath. Donald Trump has already been found guilty of fraud and felonies, high crimes and misdemeanors. And even if he somehow managed to get the Electoral College majority, that doesn't let the House off the hook.
It's not complicated.
Speaker Johnson has a duty to uphold and he has failed to carry out his duties.
He is either too weak or too corrupt to do the right thing.
The House must fulfill its duty.
That's the mandate.
That's what we elected everyone to do - to faithfully write laws, to protect and defend the Constitution, to levy taxes, and to create regulations.
