The fabric of our democracy has been shredded in less than three weeks [1]

The normal fabric of our democracy and our lives has been shredded and what is replacing it is now woven with a monstrous warp and weft thanks to the Trump administration, in particular, Elon Musk and his minions, and not as frequently explored, the ones also pulling Trump’s puppet strings, many of them faceless loyalists to Project 2025.
It's not possible to present in one analysis all of the abhorrent "threads" we've had to watch as they are woven into the current reality---the enormity of it is almost beyond comprehension. But at least let me try to capture as many of them as I can handle without making myself heartsick.
In no specific order of their occurrence, here are some of them:
1. The ongoing dismantling of the freedom of the press (by which is meant here, print, streaming, electronic, and social media)
a. The Associated Press (AP) has of today, 2/13/25 been blocked twice so far (Tuesday, 2/11 and Wednesday, 2/12) from admission to the White House for refusing to change their style from Gulf of Mexico to The Gulf of America
b. All media both newspapers and electronic media that are considered by the Trump White House to be fake news have now been denied any physical space at the Pentagon. In their place are news sources considered if we're being generous, conservative.
ICE plans to monitor social media for threats and negative comments | The Independent) c. ICE has now positioned itself to "look into" any and all social media postings that discuss ICE; apparently, they no longer have to present a credible threat---they just have to make ICE look bad. (Here is just one source for this information:
Feel free to add your own examples of the Fourth Estate under threat. There are plenty more.
2. DEI dismantled across all agencies, military, schools, you get the picture
