Nazi-boy Elon’s recreational fun [1]

In a post on Bluesky the other day, NYT columnist Jamelle Bouie broke the apparent maddening refusal of respectable commentators to properly call out Elon Musk. Surely it’s been mentioned elsewhere, but it was the first time I’ve seen it.
Obviously, two emphatic, enthusiastic Nazi salutes in broad frickin’ daylight behind the presidential seal is not enough to get dinged out of the degenerate rump of the modern Republican Party. But there is another way to describe the Apartheid Parasite with a phrase less tiresome than “the world’s richest man.”
“I think it’s cool,” Bouie wrote, “that the president is functionally a drug-addled billionaire Nazi.”
And there it is. The guy is a well-known drug fiend. He’s the Ketamine Kid, for chrissakes. Imagine describing him that way a few times. Imagine asking GOP bootlickers and Donnie Boy himself: “Why do we have a notorious drug abuser going through American computer systems? In fact, why does a drug abuser have any contracts at all with the U.S. government?”
While we shouldn’t expect supine political reporters to bring this up on their own, if Democrats mentioned it once in a while, it might actually make a couple of newscasts: Why are Republicans ok with an unelected drug-abusing Nazi attacking American institutions from the inside?
