Trump is ready to destroy the Kennedy Center [1]

Still another organization gets down on its knees for Donald Trump. It's disgusting. But it's not their fault, really. It was either capitulate or all of them get removed.
I'll start with his latest post announcing that he's now the Chairman of the Board of the Kennedy Center. Then you need to see the previous posts, where he threatened them.
Trump was ready to fire all of the Board of Trustees. How can it be an amazing board when there may not be anybody on it?
He said he was going to fire them all, but it turns out that the 36 board members haven't gotten any notification yet.
Here's Trump's first post on Feb.7th.
He's going to make the Kennedy Center "GREAT AGAIN" by terminating multiple board members, including the Chairman.
"Vision for a Golden Age in Arts and Culture." Read no more DEI entertainment, minority performers, no counter culture need apply. Just Wagner operas where the large lady sings at the end. Trump is really hooked on the Golden Age. Golden Age for America. Golden Age for Hollywood. Golden toilet for Trump to sit on.
Then he goes third person crazy.
"...an amazing Chairman DONALD J TRUMP!"
Amazing is Spiderman, not you.
"... featured Drag Shows -- specifically targeting our youth. THIS WILL STOP."
There were rooftop restaurant drag brunches last year, and too damned expensive for kids to go to. There were shows on stage, but everything was aimed at adults. Supposedly, there was a "Dragtastic Dress-Up" show, a drag story hour. But if there was, the Kennedy Center pages have been deleted. Sound familiar? Trump is just making stuff up again.
"THE BEST IS YET TO COME!"
Not with you in charge. You'll destroy it, just like everything you touch.
Two days ago, he named Ric Grenell, an openly gay man, as Interim Executive Director. Trump must have known, so where this goes, nobody knows.
Trump laid down the content rules so no one could mistake his intent.
"NO MORE DRAG SHOWS, OR OTHER ANTI-AMERICAN PROPAGANDA---ONLY THE BEST."
There you have it. Drag shows are anti-American and propaganda. We all have to wonder what he means by "OTHER."
I guess we're going to find out with Trump as the Chairman of the Board.
Things are in a bad state when we've got to depend on Donald Trump as the source for entertainment.
It's like the Twilight Zone episode where Billy Mumy has mind over matter powers, and wishes people out to the corn field when he determines that they've been bad, and creates dinosaurs fighting inside an empty TV set for entertainment and everybody tells him it's good, or else.
It's time for a Grand Golden Age of Censorship.
The man just loves to take the joy out of everything.
