Time to Leave [1]

I am leaving Daily Kos for good. I.didn't post for several years because I didn't have access to a computer. It, along with everything other than our car, two suitcases of clothing, and our cats, was stolen by movers we suspect had ties to the Russian mob. I only had a Kindle. We also couldn't afford WiFi, and I relied on the library's free WiFi to download free e-books.

In May,2023, we bought a house in York PA. It'll a quirky house, long and narrow and not ideal for someone my age (75 last November), but it's ours. We have friends here. I.am writing short stories again. I.have a novel.in the back.of my.mind,and want to work on it.

I have posted occasionally since we were able to afford WiFi and streaming, but I haven't felt comfortable here. I.have seen too.much.misogyny and too.much political correctness. Today I got a warning from.admin because I used the term."MAGAts" to.describe Trump supporters, because it was insulting.

Frankly, we should insult them every chance we get. Considering the insults and threats and the violence of 1/6, they don't deserve politeness. What we need to do is fight back and hard. I.don't see dios as part of that fight because admins ate getting their knickers in a knot over hurting the delicate feelings of Trumphumpers. I think the term I used wss correct, because they are maggots eating away at our democracy.

I will miss some of the people here, a lot of them actually, but I believe this level of playing nice isn't helping Democrats, but hurting them. I am.on Facebook as gillian.fitzgerald.543. I have spent a lot of time in Zuckertraz for offending the algorithm, to the point where my husband had a tank top made calling a hardcore repeat offender. I wear it with pride. I never thought I'd see Daily Kos become as tenderly polite as FB, but it is. Goodbye folks. It's been real-time or it used to be real. I wish Kos and everyone here well, but this isn't home anymore. While you are worrying about offending Trumpies, I will be fighting back.
